Wow...I really like the dimensional quality of this image...my only thought is that perhaps the background needs to be softened just a little so that it doesn't compete quite so much with the bird in flight...but I love the concept and colors in the clouds are breath-taking. Nicely done!

Nice job Mitch, I really like the clouds in the background. Nice placement of the bird in the frame. I see a dark border that is only on the right side of the frame. Was this intentional?

Hey Mitch,
almost looks like a topside view of the clouds! I am leaning with Johns assesment of the BG......but this does have a very 3D look to it. Good catch by Kerry on the RH edge too. All easy tweaks ot a very unusual image!

Mitch, I like the dimension you were able to create here. Good suggestions by John and Kerry. You're doing really well with Remask:S3:

Nice job compositing....I like the 3D look....wondering if you tried scaling the bird down just a bit in size!

Topaz Simplify has some really cool filters. Agree on the 3D feel...Agree on the recommended tweaks. I like this a lot, nice job. TFS

Some good suggestions offered above. I like the drama in the sky. Nice job.

Good suggestions above, lovely background...one thing I like to do when I add a white bird into a sky....I create a mask on the top of the bird and using a soft brush at about 15% flow and lightly paint some of the sun's sky color on the white, just don't overdo it. This helps to make it more realistic. Good work with this Mitch

Paul,

I will try that. Thanks for the suggestion. Always looking for a new technique.
