Here's an Atlantic puffin returning to it's burrow with a beak full of krill for it's chick. mark IV, 200 f2, iso 200, f4, 1/4000 shot manual from the blind.

Very nice EXP on this one Herb, and what a plus to get him with a beak full of food.

Lovely image. Bang on exposure with good detail in the whites and blacks. Love the mouthful of krill. Nice Bg

Fantastic full mouth, like the low angle and good EXP plus detail. Slanting rock work nicely.

Nicely done. Exposure looks great, as do the shrimp. Looks like you might have had the benefit of some thin clouds on this one -- doesn't have the harsh Machias look to me.

Herb, very nice. I like the tension created by the slope. loved those shrimp....very different from the fishes we are used to seeing. IQ looks very good. If mine, I'd have tad more room on top.

Like t a lot, the diagonal line of the ground works well...

Very nice!! I too like to see shrimp instead of the usual sand eels (nothing against them, just prefer something different!). Great job with the exposure, and good comp (although I agree with a bit more room above). I love the rock and the diagonal between it and the far BG.

Herb, good placement of the Puffin, although some more room on top will work. Excellent exposure, sharp, and the beak full of shrimp does add a nice touch.

Killer sharpness Herb, like it a lot. Are most of them banded?

Thanks for all of the comments and suggestions everyone. About 2 or 3 out of 10 are banded.
