A tough situation with the heron so close to the vegetation, I normally prefer more separation between subject and habitat, but this is what you had. Looks well exposed and detailed as posted. Good subtle HA from the heron, and just the right amount of water showing. The bright branch sticking out of the water is distracting and would be removed if mine.
