The Indian Gamma is also known as cat snake. It is a small snake with a compressed body and neck distinctly constricted. Its eyes are large with mustard yellow iris and vertical pupil. It is usually yellowish brown, sandy or fawn and is spotted with darker shades. At the dorsal side there are Y -shaped marks meeting at the center and resemble arrowheads. Its belly is white and on its lateral side there are brown spots.
Non venomous snake, shot at night in rain.

Hey Joshi,
I like the pose you've captured and the angle....but I do feel it is a bit dark overall......I would recommend lightening it just a bit overall.....not much, but just to get some more sepration of the snake from the BG. I would then selective darken the lightest areas of the body at the ULC and around 11 o'clock. Then either burn in or remove the browninsh stem? coming out of your signature. Finally.....a bit of noise reduction on the BG will be the finishing touch. Minor adjustment to make the image stronger IMO. All in all glad to see you getting out with your new gear and nicely composed!

Hi Joshi. The snake gave you a great pose and the extended tongue is a big plus. Very nice sharpness around the head and tongue and I really like the comp - though I'd like to see a little more room at the top, if you have it. I agree with Roman that the image seems a little dark and he has given you some good suggestions to consider - small tweaks to a strong image. Well done.

Cool looking snake and like the eye, and extended tongue, Joshi. Good suggestions above.
