I photographed a fast series of this ground squirrel grooming and found I captured this pose. It reminds me of the motions of Tai Chi!

Location: my yard. I live on a huge granite outcrop and chipmunks and golden-mantled ground squirrels rule the place, while my dog keeps the hungry foxes at bay.

Canon 1D Mark IV, Canon 400 DO f4, 1/800, f5.6, exp. comp. +1/3, ISO 800.

C & C much appreciate.

This is hysterical, Nancy. What a humorous pose, and the title is so fitting.

Adorable and tack sharp; I would use the lasso tool and grab the dark spot on the LRHC and do a content aware fill; it keep grabbing my eye while I eye Mr. Exercise. :bg3:

Super cute pose here Nancy! Hint of motion blur works well and it's sharp as a razorblade

Danny, only a guest room, but you are welcome! I'm sure I'm cooler than you are right now :t3!

Anything less than 100 F is cooler than we are. I spent my life here but I still have no use for Missouri summers. You are very blessed to be living at 8,000 feet in the northern Colorado Rocky Mountains. Don't ever take it for "granite." Sorry couldn't resist.
