July on the Oregon coast.
No soft blur here, just pounding surf on a summer's day.

Hi Dan, I like the overall composition and the way you used the pano crop. The light appears diffused and not harsh along with good detail where it needs to be. Your fortunate to get that at F5.6. I would recommend at least F11 or higher in the future to insure sharpness. My only nit is wishing for a bit more rock on the bottom...

Hey Dan,
Looks like yo uhave a few hot spots in the FG.....but as Davem mentioned not too bad. On this one , I a wishing that you had the end of one of the rock outcroppings......although that being said.....I find myself drawn to the more distant waves. I find a heavy pano crop from the bottom.....just leaving a sliver of the main FG rocks as a base works best for me as it accentuates the lines and focuses more on the waves and action. Just something for you to consider.

I like the banding effect: water/rock/water/rock/water/sky. The lateral cropping is good because you
catch the spray at both left and right, with rows of waves leading to the top. Nice processing.

Lovely capture. Agree with the crop suggestion from Roman. Also needs less than one degree of CCW; the RHS is lower than the LHS when you put a straight line on the water line on the LHS.

Dan,

I think the crop suggestion is the way to go here.
