Top quality image of this owl Christopher. I like the environment. If you could darken the brightness

of the light spots in the bottom I think it would help. Well done and good for you that he was cooperative.

Good eye contact from the owl Christopher, and just love the lazy pose on one leg. You say you were sat in a bow of the tree, how do operate your tripod, or were you still on ground level.

Great find and shot, Stuart.
Some people might assume that the feathers on the breast appear to have been OOF but they are not.
They just look like they are on certain Owls. (Long and Short-eared Owls for example)
It is the nature of those feathers.

Beautiful owl, never seen this species before. Nice habitat shot too. Didn't need a flash?

Sweet looking bird. I love the head stripe. The light areas of distant sky do not bug me at all.

Nice shot, I would maybe not center it if you have room.

thankyou all for comments,Karl you are right about the feathers on the breast, you only need the wind to blow a bit,and the feathers look soft, and by the way Karl I am called chris,Stuart I was on ground level, the owl was sat on a bow of the tree.thanks again everybody.

Very nice habitat shot of this guy. It is where you would expect to find these birds. Nice eye contact and considering the subject a very nice shooting angle. Well done!
