I was reviewing some images from an August 2009 trip to Bonaventure and found a few that I have never posted.

Looking forward to your comments and critiques!

Nice "in-your-face" flight image Mike. Right at eye-level too. Well exposed and good details in the face and body plumage.

I really like gannets! About four years ago I went down by my bay and was practicing BIF images. I saw a ton of diving birds and thought they were gulls until I got home and looked on the computer and saw they were gannets. I have not had the same opportunity since that day. I wish to get close to this species again someday.

Very nice portrait Mike! They have such pretty facial colors and details :S3:

Love the close-up BIF eye-level view, Mike. Beautiful looking bird, real nice detail in eye and face. Wanting just a bit more sharpness at tip of bill, but very nice composition and capture!

Mike, I like the crop a lot. Very nicely done. The angle of the bird is excellent and goes well with the tightness. A little soft compared to your usual standards.
