Really nice bird...I like the pose, color and sharpness are excellent.

I would run a blur and/or noise reduction on the background to smooth it out more and maybe darken some of the bright spots in the background as well.

Very beautiful bird Richard. I like the dreamy background. The exposure looks excellent with lots of detail in the shadows and highlights. Nice and sharp where it counts. I might consider taking a little off the bottom as the image looks a little bottom-heavy. I also might consider burning in (darkening) the bright spot over the back of the bird.

Good detail and color. I find the lines in the background in front of the bird a little distracting. Agree w Joel blur this area would help the subject standout.
