Very good call on the f-stop to achieve bg separation.

Lovely soft light and BG. Perfect exposure control. Head is a bit lost against the body but still lovely.

KD, I like the habitat here, and excellent whites on the egret. Love the greens of the BG.

Sorry I missed this one. Good comments above. Agree with Ofer about the head/wing merge, but the head still stands out well. Soft light did really help with nice detail in the feathers.

I was a little bothered by the large mass of brownish green vegetation in the RLC, so just for fun tried a modest vignette of the corners to draw my attention back in towards the bird. I liked it, might be worth a look.
