I had to use a heavy vignette on the original image because of all the flowers in the background and it still was not what I wanted so I used Fractalius on it and then duped the layer and used Flaming Pear Twirl and blended the 2 layers. Flaming black-eyed Susans!

Judy, I think you discovered one of those cool things about Fractalius - you can use it to make a background drop out completely! The frac filter worked well on this one and really gives the flowers a look of flame. Good show!

Judy, Great combination of filters and I love the title! I might crop some off the bottom if it were mine. Very creative!:S3:

This really captures and very much highlights the brilliance of light shining through the yellow petals in such a creative way. I love it!

I like the affect on these flowers, I probably would have gone with a tighter crop...but hey thats just my idea...well done

Thanks Paul! I agree but in the past I got a lot of "too tight" critiques so I took no chances this time. :w3 I think I will crop a bit.
