Photo taken in Norway. Goldcrest is the smallest bird in the country. The bird is from 8.5 to 9.5 cm lang.Data: Canon 30D 300mmL F4, 0 IS + 1.4 converter, F6, 3, 1 / 320, ISO 200

Sweet subject in a nice setting. Very fine detail. If it were mine I would add a very small catch light to the eye.

Very nice image - is it a crop - I would suggest it is just a little too large in the frame. Well done for getting so close.

Darling little bird. A wonderful capture of a small and most likely, fast moving bird. Maybe just a bit of selective sharpening on the eye, or that catchlight as Joe suggested. Another small suggestion is to remove those 2 yellow needles in the bottom part or crop them out. They do draw my eye away from the Goldcrest.
