Took this image, this morning,it was content, most birds as you know when stood on one leg are chilled,I would have liked it to have its head turned slightly towards me,tryed to make it turn its head,by making soft noise with my mouth, but guess what,it flew off, comments good or bad welcome,cannon7d,cannon 400mm f/5.6 prime lens,tripod,f6.3,1/125s,iso500,slight crop, some sharpening, cloned 2 slugs of the perch.I have not used a hide, only field craft.thanks.

Chris, great fluffed up pose, and I like the eye level perspective. Great BG too. I must admit, I had a little giggle when I read that whilst you were trying to attract his attention, he flew off. Hope you got the take off shot. :w3:w3:w3

Really cute, Chris. Super details in the bird, love the perch. The reflection in his eye is nice and I'm quite ok with his head turn, almost like he is trying to ignore you.
