An alternate shot of the same sunrise that incorporates some of Roman's suggestions for tweaking the clouds. I adjusted the previous post to achieve the same effect on the clouds.

Andrew - I like this one a lot. I still think I would crop it from the top, leaving just a smidge of the darkest clouds. The colors of the sunrise and the reflection are great.

Yep....these have a ton more depth to them and for me it works!!! I'm with Rachel on the crop.....just a smidge of the dark band makes it even stronger for me! Very nicely done!

Very nice Andrew, a crop from the top also, but don't mind the whole image.

Thanks for posting this shot, I fight halos when blending this type of image, your version has inspired me to at least try a reverse grad filter.

Very nicely done.

Agree with all said; loose most of the dark band and it becomes a winner for me.
