From last weekend, evening storms were passing through the area. This was taken after 8 pm, facing at an angle towards the sunset as the last rays illuminated the clouds. I like it but not sure how well it translate as an image to those who weren't there to enjoy the scene. Some banding in the sky when I saved for web not really visible in the TIFF. 7D, 500/4, f5.6, 1/250s, ISO 800, +1.33 EC, cloned out a dark blob in the FG grass, HH from vehicle, cropped, 79% of original.

Hi Steve, I didnt have to be there to enjoy this. Lovely soft light and pastel colours, and I like the eye contact. An opportunity well used. :w3

Hi Steve, love the subtle, subdue tones, colours and hues of the FG/BG in this one, really gives the Pronghorn (?) a great platform to shine through with it's detail and markings. The low angle, space and position overall really works on this one.

Cracking stuff. :5:cheers:

Steve, this is really, really pretty. I just love the soft tones, the pose of the antelope and the whole feel of the image. Delightful.

Steve - this is great, nice soft sunset tones combined with a nice pose from the pronghorn with head turn towards you. Good POV too.

A cracker Steve, love that sunset sky, the low angle and the pose. Good techs too (steady hand :w3).
If anything I wish for a bit less of the OOF grass in front of the animal :e3
