Subject is sharp and well exposed with good detail Like the reflection. Looks if it were taken in the shade near the hide. Conditions well handled. Keep them coming :S3:

Interesting head on from the front shot, I would have preferred a crop just below the head in the reflection elminating what looks like a green leaf.

Thanks for your comments Nico, Karl and Art.... Looking forward improving my Avian photo's on this site, good and harsh crits all add up to, hopefully, better photo's.
I was in two minds to use a differnet crop, ditto the green leaf in the lower part of the image.

Hey Craig, neat duck...I love the red eye! Good incoming pose and I like the raised bill. I also dig the rippling water above. I too would like to see the leaf cropped out, and I would look into eliminating the bluish cast on the subject. Very sharp as posted.
