I'm not sure what this fellow thought he would do with this little twig - especially since he was not near his nest, but hovering over the hawkwatch platform at Cape May Point. I had been set up for other subjects when he suddenly appeared, thus the unnecessarily high ISO.

Hi Bill,

An excellent capture and pose. Perhaps the whites could be a just a tad whiter, and a bit more room at the top. Also the feathering around the top of the head and the neck look slightly soft. Eye is very sharp and I like the expression.

Well exposed and nice detail - I think I'd like a little more canvas on top/right. Otherwise well done.

thanks

I would be very happy with is Bill, like the pose and outspread wings but do agree with above comments on whites and a little more canvas on top.

Ditto the whites. I like the pose and detail under the wings. The twig is a nice inclusion as well. A superb image!:S3:
