From my last trip to Longwood Gardens......have to go back as new varieties are really starting to bloom! It's also great that they add a non-toxic black dye to the water to keep the algae down.
Iso 800 at f21 and 1/125 sec with the Canon 1D Mark lll and the Sigma 180mm macro and the MT24 twin lights at 0 hand held. Clean up of minor debris on leaf.

Striking, Roman.

The unconventional comp design adds a lot of interest to a beautiful image.

Hi Roman. I love the glow of the flower - the way it almost jumps out at you. Interesting about the black dye. Cool patterns and textures in the leaf and excellent overall sharpness! Very well done.

A very unusual image I note the comment regarding the water, I also after a few seconds, noticed the shadow under the flower head. A really unusual image it appears almost 3D, I think the lighting is outstanding - great shot.
