This is snoething I stumbled across when getting ready to do some work at the Kennedy Space Center . Some of you may already know about it, but I thought it was pretty good.

You can log in your own bird information regarding sitings and use the explore tab to get species specific hotspot information

Thank you George. eBird has been a revolution in birding by allowing birders to upload their field notes that would otherwise have never seen the light of day. The knowledge thus accumulated is now recognised as extremely valuable and is being used widely.

I like ebird too. Lots of people use it to search for recent "rarities" or unusual wanderers. A nice resource.

One of the features I like most about e-Bir is that it's very easy to tick off the numbers of common species that I have seen on a day's birding, or an hour's casual birding, or glancing out the window etc., and then having that entry e-mailed back to myself, so that I can forward it to our local Natural History group, or enter it into my listing program etc.

I use eBird all the time (okay, I just started birding 3 months ago!). I try to list all of the birds that I find when I can, which is happening more frequently. :S3:
