The terns are hatching and feeding. Hope they don't get washed out by a High tide , like last year.
Had to clean this up a bit as there is much vegatation in the colony , probably due to the very wet spring.
Cropped a bit for comp. and presentation.

You forgot the cuteness warning. Love the peek-a-boo chick. A browser scroll makes me think that a bit off the top leads the viewer's eye more to your subjects, but certainly a personal choice.

Joe, excellent moment. Good exposure, DOF, head turn and the critical catchlight. Well done. which lens and camera?

Agree with Grace on taking a little off the top.

Very nice capture; so cute and I like the alert watch by the parent while the chick is so curious. Techs all on the money as well.

Good exposure on the Tern Joe, and you have brought out the eye nicely. Good angle to show the head of the chick. Comp wise, I would take quite a bit off the top, and add a little to the bottom.

I had thought about a pano crop , but decided against it. No specific reason.:2eyes2:

Cute alright. Wish the chick was peeking out just a little more and agree that the bird seems a little low in the frame.
Great work on the exposure too :S3:
