I would consider this a perfect dorsal pose to show off your bird to its full advantage. Nice 3D effect with good separation from the BG.

Sharp, well exposed.

Although the bird is angling downward, I do agree about a sliver more room at the top.

For someone who doesn't like heights, this capture is very sharp. I, too, am anxious about heights and no amount of IS or SS would be able to hide my camera shake. :) The image is superb with great IQ, detail, and BG.
