I captured this image of a female leopard earlier this year in Sabi Sands. She was stalking some impala but failed to make the kill.

Yes, great to see you hear. I like the crop and the image design and wish only that the animal were looking a bit more towards us.

Good to see you posting here again Chris...gorgeous light and I like the pose. Not too sure about the crop personally - how about going in a tad tighter from left and bottom, still keeping the pano (almost 6x17??) feel? :e3

Nice light. I like the comp, there's a feeling of simple yet elegant feel to it.

Light is very nice as others have noted. I like how she's emerging from the darker "path" in the grass.

Nice shot. I don't see any problem with the fact the animal is not looking at us as it is looking at the impala...:w3
I don't feel there is a need for such a long pano - would crop some off the right.
Some selective brightening on the face would be great IMO. Here is a quick repost with what I have in mind.

Chris,
Wonderful image cropped both ways. The backlight puts this over the top, adding greatly to the dimensional quality of the image.
I think the head position is fine as taken.
Best,
Chas
