Jonathan
I think the picture would be a little more clarity might be.
even a tiny bit more sharpness could still.

Hi Jonathan. You have nice light, an attractive specimen, good comp, and an excellent background. The focus point may be slightly off - the sharpest area of the image appears to be the 2 buds in the foreground with the butterfly a little softer. You might try some additional selective sharpening on the butterfly to see if that helps. :S3:

Beautiful butterfly, and I like the "perch". Awesome background! I agree with the sharpness issues mentioned. Don't be afraid to raise the ISO for more shutter speed and/or more room to stop down.

Hey Jon,
Sharpness already covered. I want to second what Daniel said.....especially since you get such great BG's!!!.....don't be afraid to push the ISO.......even 640 is good on the 7D and an easy NR clean up if you get any with your BG's. Just makes life a bit easier in the field.

Thanks everyone, I was originally on 400 then it got a bit brighter so I went to 200, I agree however I could have increased the ISO a little.

Hi Jon, the colors, light and comp look really good on this one! The DOF issue has already been covered. I think Steve's suggestion of selective sharpening would definitely work.
