Thanks guys for the comments...Noelle, this guy had just landed and was still trying to get his balance. I take 99% of my bird images at Mankwe hide in the Pilanesburg Game Reserve. It has the most interesting array of BG's and all depends on which perch the action happens depends on the interesting (as you put it):S3: BG you shall get. The dam is blue but has these grey/ purple patches in the water. There are large hills in the distance that have golden grass and green trees and bushes scattered amongst the grass. We also have two different rock types in the hills one with a reddish color and one with sandy brown color. So often get layers of colors in my BG's from all these reasons I have just explained. I enjoy it but I know its not to everyones taste.
