This was a common bird at Falcon State Park in the LRGV of Texas. A few were coming in to one of the feeders there and would regularly land on the same branch before going to the feeder. I simply duct taped on this small branch.....snapped a few images.....and then put things back to normal.

Hope you enjoy it!

Great setting and find. I've never seen this species and might give it a tad more room at the top.

Glenn I love the bird, perch and BG. I'll echo the suggestion for a bit more head room.

I think that this was use # 1001 for Duck Tape. "Red Green" would be proud! ;)

Setting and bg is very nice. I feel a bit tight (for my taste). Otherwise nice image.

Very nicely done, Glenn. The big blur in the upper right corner is pretty distracting in my opinion, and I'd like to see your subject's head turned every so slighty away from the camera so that its beak doesn't line up with the edge of its black breast feathers.
