This one is from Spitsbergen two years ago. Except for the sunlight we had a terrific time photographing these animals.

Thanks for watching,

Krijn,

I really like this image. I like the "feel" of vastness. Something few get to see.
The placement in the frame of the mammal (what is it?) is right where it needs to be.

IMO the only thing that I find to distract me (easy to do, ADD) is the snow.
I am a diagonal line kinda guy and think the diagonals in the rocks and diagonal impact.
The snow draw my limited attention away from that.

I'll bet that was not the only frame you made!

Beautiful and thanks for sharing this with a Florida flat lander.

A fine composition, nice lighting and exposure. I like how the deer is walking into the frame. The snow in the upper left is a bit distracting but thats being pretty picky. Overall a fine image.

I think you captured the "feeling" of being there nicely Kirjn. Beautiful patterns in the landscape (except for the snow) and you placed the Svalbard Reindeer (that is what it is) nicely. Very pleasing photograph.
