I was just leaving the park tonight when I saw a two young fawns grazing. (With moms) I wish there was more light to work with because I could not get a sharp prancing image but I was able to capture this image which I liked. This is my first fawn image.

Congrats on your first fawn, its a beauty. Centered, but it works okay for me because of the head turn over the back and the subtle differences in depth of the BG. Must be pretty young, still has bluish eyes.

Superb Noelle, a real beauty... central comp works nicely and also like the FG grass plus the darker BG.

Lovely image!! Here is a repost with my suggestion as to composition if you got the room.

Nicely captured, great color. I like the look back pose and IMHO Ofer's suggested comp improves the image.

Hi Noelle, great to see you posting here again.

Great detail based on the techs, ISO1000  The repost being slightly off centre does work better and I really like the carpet of wild flowers (?). Might try and remove the greenish tinge under the chin in the white area. :w3

Look forward to seeing more.

Oh yeah, the repost(s) work very well indeed. Very cute fella, great eye-level perspective...and I love the habitat. Well done!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments and suggestions.

The light was fading fast on these little ones so I sat down on the ground and used my knees as my tripod to hold steady.

Steve, I had taken a break from posting, life get's in the way sometimes. Thanks for noticing. I am not sure how often I will post in the wildlife section and if I do they will most likely be cute furry creatures without fangs :bg3:

Really like the greens and the detail in the fawn. Like the over-the-shoulder look as well.
