Hey Carel,
I really love the light and pose here! Sharp where it need it but for some reason the grass rising up is bothering me. I don't recall if you are against removing such things......but I would try a version with that eliminated. Yes, it may then look like the grass is truncated......so not 100% sure it will make it look better.....but worth exploring if you are ok with such things. As it stands now.....I would tone it down a few points down......just to minimize it even further. As the BG is fantastic.....even with the personal bias on the grass blade.....this turned out fantastic!

Hi Carel. I like everything about this image - even the grass stem. :S3: The sharpness and detail, light, exposure, pose, and background are all outstanding! :cheers:

I tried to remove the grass, but for me personally is it just me or is something wrong.
The wicker is very cut off behind the grasshopper.
I placed him there, but for me it's not pretty.
