Hi Charles, very nice capture here. Textbook shooting angle, nice exposure and color, and good composition. Maybe a little more room on the right, a bit of lightening of the eye, a slight bump in contrast (or maybe just a mid-range boost), and you have a keeper. Well done!

Really like this one, love the low angle. Important to see their world well done. You might clean up the green rock underneath the neck if you want. Maybe a tad tight - all subjective - nice one,..keep em coming.

I like this one too Charles. Nice eastern population, breeding-plumage Willet. Great sharpness and eye-level camera angle, both important components of a quality wildlife portrait. I can see some detail in the eye but I think the subject needs to be lightened a little. Agree that the subject is a little tight in the frame- I would add a little to the top and right.

Kerry, thank you very much sir! I appreciate the constructive criticism on this image. Indeed, it needs more brightening of the subject!

Jeff, thanks a lot! Personally, I like that little green nub as it adds to the "environment", but as you say it's all personal!

John, I'll go edit a different version and post as soon as I can!

Mighty fine shootin, very sharp and I also would like to see more "eye!"

Charles, this looks great to me - you have a high key look going now. Very nice!
