I am not one for this type of angle when shooting waterfowl, I like to be as low as possible, but this was taken off a peir, so not much choice I guess, but I liked the refection here, and the nice light on the eye., no saturation added, but the eye dose look a bit over done.

Very nice composition Raymond, love the colors, and subject placement, background helps make the duck stand, like the detail on the feathers. What type of duck is this? Are the eyes always this red or is it a bit saturated?

Very well done, but absolutely must select the iris and de-SAT the reds 10-15 points. Then select and darken the pupil to give the appearance of greater sharpness. The light and the concentric wake are lovely but I am not a big fan of the elongated reflection of the head...

Great work, Ray. I really like the composition of the image, the detail in your subject is very nice, and the water texture adds nicely to the image as well. Too bad about the distorted head reflection.

thanks for the comments and suggestions!! I still wonder about the eye, I agree, it looks over saturated, but all I did was crop, and levels, sharpen this image... was it really that red?.. I will try a re-edit tonight.
