Not sure of the ID on this little guy so would appreciate some help on the ID image made on West Coast of Florida.

40D, 500 f/4 + 1.4TC, 1/1250 at f/7.1, Manual Mode, Evaluative Metered, ISO 400, Tripod, cropped and clone out some water drops.

Sorry, Don, can't help you with the I.D. but this is a lovely capture of him having a bath. Love how you froze that water motion, and nice ripples. Wish for a slight head turn towards us. Great exposure, nice detail.

I just love the water droplets on the birds back, nice low angle, soft light and clean soft BG TFS:cheers:

That looks like a Dunlin to me (but could be wrong) and I sure do like the image. The water rolling down his (or her) back makes it for me.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this image Don.
Love the light, the low angle and the action. Those rolling water droplets make this a winner for me.
Looks like a Dunlin to me too.
Perhaps a bit of CW rotation and a crop from the top.
TFS.

Looks like a Dunlin to me also. Nice bathing image. The low angle and water droplets really add to it.

Love the water droplets on his back. This makes the image. A keeper for sure.

Don, this is excellent stuff. Those water drops on the back make it very unique. And nice view of the face without any drops obstructing. Low shooting angle is perfect for this. Good call on f-stop and excellent subject placement.

Good low angle Don, and I do like the soft light in this. Of course, the water falling over his back puts this up a notch. I agree with Sidharth a little CW rotation is needed, together with some off the top too.
