From this evening at our town beach in cloudy and windy conditions. The subjects are a bit larger in the frame than I usually prefer but the beach is cluttered with washed up stuff so I came in close with a 2x to eliminate some of it and also to stay a bit back from the birds as they are very young. Before you compliment me on the low angle, I cheated. The beach slopes steeply upward so I was kneeling, not flat on belly. :w3

Don't care how you got it , it's a wonderful image. Love the inter-action between the two. Great detail with the 2x!!!!. Exposure looks great as well.

Grace, you have captured the tender moment to perfection. The angle does work well, and both with good detail. The whites look like they have a slight bluish cast.

Perfect exposure and sharpness. Lovely moment captured. Love the bg color.
Whites look good on my uncalibrated monitor :)

Lovely interaction and nice DOF. IQ looks good, I would like it a touch lighter for my taste...But a lovely image nonetheless...Nice one Grace!

A fine image Grace. Low angle is great but I especially like the chick's beak nuzzling the adult.

Great low angle!!:t3 No matter how you did it, you recognized the situation...

Cute and tender moment you got. I too feel it could go a tad lighter and I too see a bit of a bluish cast (go to hue/saturation and completely desaturate the blue channel...you will see a difference). Would you have been able to scoot over to your left without introducing too much of the described clutter? It's not so much the BG vegetation that concerns me, but the angle of the subjects.

Well done though...I like it!:S3:
