Finally, we had a bit of better light here in the Pacific Northwest---soon to be followed by a snow storm tonight. LOL!
This image was taken today at Fort Flagler on Marrowstone Island, Washington.
I love these guys.

Lovely image here Bonnie. Nice low angle on this bird and it looks as if you've caught his/her eye.

Congrats on a lovely, simply designed, excellent portrait. The only thing that bugs me is the single raised feather on the lower back. Exceptionally sharp.

Nice image, Bonnie. I would maybe crop a bit off the bottom so he isn't so centered.

Very nice capture. The blacks look a bit washed out to me. Here's an alternate version to consider -- I clipped the feather as per Artie's suggestion but I actually don't mind the feather as it was. Applied an "S" curve and increased the saturation some.
