I havent posted in wildlife for a while. Ive always enjoyed portraits of antelope, especially against clean BG's. This was captured in the Kruger National Park last year Oct.

Man this is great...The IQ you create in you animal images is what I wish I could achieve in mine. Its a notoriously difficult species to get a good image of...Magic stuff:cheers:

Actually Stuart as Marc said, killer BG, however, I just wondered, have you added additional blur to the BG, as to get something like that I might have expected it from a fixed lens? Just curious as you keep getting me to dust my old lens down based on your postings, but that is as far as it goes. :bg3::bg3::bg3:

Thanks Steve. The only work I did on the BG was a moderate NR using neat image. No additional burring applied. Here is the original BG without any NR applied. I think due to the BG being fairly distant, it was already nicely OOF.

Cool Stu.

Thanks for that, as I am very pleased to see you achieved it in camera rather than adding any PS affects.

It is the way to go. :w3

gorgeous portrait Stu...great IQ and pose showing those radar ears.
the 100-400 can give some good bokeh if the background is far enough removed from the subject :)
