Excellent shot!! Cropping about a third of the distance between the back of the bird and the top would make it even stronger IMHO.

Oh, he just missed...Lovely wing position, I like Ofer's idea on taking some off the top. Lovely stuff Giovanni!

Ok but if I take some off the top for make a regular shoot (31x20) I must reduce also the splash of the fish or the space in front of the eagle.
What you think about ?

Although I am a 2:3 freak I do admit that not every image can fit into this framing. I have no problem with a panorama crop. However, if I get a photo that needs to be cropped as a square I just put it in the bin as sad as it is...(a mental issue - I know...:e3)
Your original image is fine but I just think that a pano works a bit better - nothing major...:w3

Great job capturing this one.. I would like to see more on the right side, I find the top needs to stay in order to give room for the "splash" that is traveling upward.

I prefer Ofer's crop, it focuses on the bird more.
It would take it up another notch if the left wing is a bit higher..

Good timing again. Bird flying away is less than ideal. May we assume that the birds in this series are baited?

very nice Geovanni, agree with troy about left wing being higher, but still a very nice action shot, and different, meaning, the eagle missing the fish.thanks.

The situation in natural in Norwey with the famous Ole Martin.
There are fishs sent from the boat and fish living in the sea (both situation mixed)
I think t could be as the bald eagle in Alaska
