Any location info on wildlife in Nova Scotia, for late June?

Not very familiar with Nova Scotia "hotspots" for wildlife photography. I'll see if John Chardine has some info, he is located closer to the maritimes and may have ideas...

Hi Layton- Here are a few ideas:

1. There will still be landbirds singing (we've had a late spring!) so you will have opportunities if you come prepared to use playback.

2. The Shubenacadie Wildlife Park has captive wolves and other mammals.

3. A boat trip out from Briar Island, past Digby, should yield whales (too early for phalaropes).

4. On the New Brunswick side of the Bay of Fundy, you can get a boat trip out of Grand Manan (ferry from Black's Harbour, NB) where you can take a boat trip to Machias Seal Island for puffins, razorbills, murres etc. Some of these trips land on the island and you have an opportunity to photograph the auks from a blind at close distances.

If I think of anything else I'll let you know.
