Tom,
Nice pose and great background. Techs are looking good too considering the light conditions.
I added a bit of saturation and let me know what do you think.

The repost is better, Sid, thank you. After I posted, I looked at it and thought it looked flat and that I should adjust the Levels in the midrange. I did it, but I elected to not post it until someone commented on it. Thanks for taking the time.

Nice image Tom, sharp bird and a great background. Sids' repost takes it up a notch.

I started with Sid's version and went from there. Divided and conquered the extraneous parts of the perch and sharpened and lightened the face. I just love the head angle and the color and softness of the BKGR.

Wow Artie, you really cleaned it up and it looks great. Thank you for the time spent on this. I was just happy to get the shot I did after sunset handheld with the shutter speed that low and not have tons of noise. Still learning and again, thank you for the time spent with the repost - much better!

Tom, good choice of comp to suit the pose, and just love the soft light and colours in this. Love the forked perch. Artie's post puts it up a notch.

YAW. Only took a few minutes. Do you have Digital Basics (https://store.birdsasart.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=252)?

You had a lot to work with there, and a great bird to boot; then came Sid and Artie. Artie's re-post looks great; the shot would probably look even better if Sid and Artie'd been working with the raw file.

Thank you all for the feedback.

Artie, yes, I do have Digital Basics and am still working thru it. Thanks again.
