Caracara With Nesting Material Going Into The Nest

This is a shot of Caracara moments before flying into the nest. Light was higher than I like to get both sides of under wing well lit. I will try it again this weekend and hope I get more shots soon after sunrise.

This shot shows how intelligent this species is. This bird looped the nesting materials so it is easier to carry it to the nest.

Interesting to see how he has looped the nesting material. I do like the wingspan and curled primaries. Pity the eye is covered by a strand of material.

Troy, You did as well as you could. Was the bill of this bird yellow as it appears here? They usually look orange. Is it a full adult?

Artie, I am not sure how old this pair is. Yes it was yellow.
I am going back again and will follow the progress. One of the two have bands around the legs.
