Hi Troy, Powerful sky! Good conversion along with a well framed composition. I like the bush anchoring the rt along with the layers of water. If this were mine I would fill in the road on the rt...

Dave, thank you. I forgot to mention that this is a full frame.

Hey Troy,
Besides the road Dave mentioned, I think you need to tame the brightest areas of the sun a bit more. Have you tried a screen blend mode on the sky? This may bring out more defiinition of the clouds.....just avoid many of the brightest areas. You may also use that on the bush and slope side....just to give the B&W a bit more depth. If I get a chance later today I will give it a go.

Nice B&W, I Agree about a crop removing the road.
The sun doesn't look that bright on my monitor, in fact I would brighten the lower left foreground a tad
for a bit more detail.

I am not normally a B&W fan, but I really like the feel of this one. Agree with Dave on deep 6'ing the road. Love the formation of the clouds on this one.

Good suggestion by Roman on the screen blend mode and I too agree with the cropping of the road.

Troy, nice conversion. This looks quite nice as a B&W. Roman and Dave's suggestions will take this up a notch.

Love the sky and the image design. Taming the bright sun sky might or might not be possible. Troy....

It looks very much as if the brightest areas of sky are gone forever..... Another vote for the B&W version.

Thank you all, it looks like my original choice was a better one.
