Hope your not all getting tired of eagle images. I'm still editing from images from March
This is something I rarely do crop an image to post, but this image was screaming pano to me. This is basically full frame then cropped to a 2 to 1 ratio.

Camera Model: Canon EOS-1D Mark IV
Shutter speed: 1/3200 sec
Aperture: 4.5
Exposure mode: Manual
Metering mode: Partial
ISO: 320
Lens: EF70-200mm F4 IS
Focal length: 200mm

Magnificent pose. I think the image could be lightened slightly to show the feather details a bit more. Awsome shot.

Fantastic, looks perfect on my screen in terms of brightness/detail. I'd love to see it posted a little larger too. The slim crop works well for this I think as well.:S3:

Another vote for 1024 pixels wide! Great incoming pose and nice eye contact. I would like to see a bit more detail in the darks.

I do not think it possible to tire of your eagle images. I think your crop idea works well here. The pose you captured is so dynamic, love the talons, makes me want to know what happened next.....

I keep forgetting you can post at 1024px..... I have plenty of detail showing on my monitor.. Perhaps I need to recalibrate. Monitor variations make it tough!

Terrific shot and I think that a lot of the perceived darkness is a result of the small image. I think lightening the blue in the water would help though.
