Hello everyone. Here is shot I managed the other day. C&C welcomed and encourged.
Camera - Nikon 300s, Lense - Nikon 200-400 w/1.4tc, Exposure - 1/500, Aperture - F8, ISO - 250, Metering - Multi-segment, Manual.

Beautiful bird and Ilike the thin perch. I wish the angle wasn't so steep and that the belly and perch weren't shaded. I also find the BG a bit distracting.

Robert, good exposure and comp...but as Daniel said, main issue here is the steep angle.

I agree with the comments on steepness of angle. On the BG, I find it interested but needing of better positioning with the subject. Such as moving to get the yellow blobs away from the head and not having the green lines intersecting the head. Perhaps getting the head in the larger blue part. IMO, the background is as important if not more then the subject in many cases.
