Allen, now that is close. Love the eyes, very cool. I might consider cloning out the flash generated spectral highlights, particularly the long one on the front of the face. Nice capture!

Allen so...close..I think your lens definitely touch the bug.:bg3: but nice macro.. looks great with alien face.

Well done on the focus and the really close head on look. Looks like an excellent combination for very tight shots.

Hi Allen. I like the tight in-your-face view here. Nice job with the HH and very good sharpness within your DOF. I would wish that the front-most portion of the face was also sharp, but at this magnification you might have to use a focus stack to pull that off. I would agree about cloning some (most) of the flash-generated spectral highlights. Use of a diffuser on your flash should help with these. These guys have very interesting faces and I hope to see more images like this. :S3:

Very well done for HH! Yep.....at this magnification.....focus stacking is only opetion....but still trying to figure out how to get that done in the field....even with tripod! If this was indoors....getting leg sharp too with stacking....would put this over the top!!! Still a very nice image overall!
