Hi Dan, pretty pond with lush foliage. Generally you framed it well. To my eye the greens are a bit oversaturated and I would of liked the bush on the rt not quite so bright since it is competing with the Japanese Maple for attention...

Dan I have to agree on the greens...and overall I don't find this your strongest composition :e3
nothing really grabs my interest and my eye keeps wandering?
I do find the yellowish bush draws me towards it more than anything else (I'm no botanist so can't name them like Dave :w3)
Do you have any with more of a focus on that piece of foliage?

Dan,
I have to agree with both Dave and Morkel. To sum it up, the image is to busy w/o an underlying center of interest to balance it out - yes I know that is a rather esoteric critique.
I like the idea of the slow shutter speed and the affect on the foliage. Here, less would be more and concentrating on a more well-defined focal point would have been key to creating a successful image.

Hey Dan,
Have to agree with above assesments. I think for a blur to work here you needed a slower SS......or as Robert suggested......much faster. Nice idea though.
