These birds have a simple, repetitive song that they sing from the tallest perch amongst coastal salt bush.

Hi Paul, nice shot. I like the background, open beak and pose. Might crop up from the bottom just a tad because it is OOF. very nice.

Lovely image. Colours are very complimentary and pose is excellent.
I like the nice vertical presentation but agree that the oof in bottom would be best cropped out for a bit squatter photo.

I like this a lot. Subject and BKGR are excellent.
I would crop some from the bottom keeping some of the brown BKGR in the image.

A very lovely vertical rule of thirds with the perfect head angle. The bird looks a bit like a thin-billed Lincoln's Sparrow. Light sweet and soft, SH right on, and a loverly BKGR.

Great shot, lovely BG, perch and bird. I think that an f/11 would make a huge difference in the perch below, just don't know if the BG would be that amazing with f/11....

Excellent comp!! Love the pose and the BG is just too sweet. Did you clone out something in LRC?...seems like there is a faint pale circle there suggesting just that...

Thanks for the replies all, crop suggestion makes sense for sure. Yes, leaves cloned out of bottom right corner as noted in photoshop notes in my original post :w3
