40D. 400 f5.6L at f/7.1. iso 400. 1/2000s. manual metering. from Mountain view shoreline park near PA Baylands.

The bank was a good 1.5 feet higher than the water... so I had to kinda hang out for lower angle and shoot without any support below....in vertical orientation :-) In the process, I messed up the levelling. After rotation, I dont have anything to add on the right side. Infact, a small triangle at the bottom is canvas I have added in post. Now I am thinking I should probably extend the whole right side a tad.

All C&C welcome and appreciated.

Another reason I decided to hang out like a cantilever beam was to get better light angle :-)

Excellent exposure and detail. You handled the blacks and whites well. Lovely eye color. I think a tad more CW rotation would help, if you can get it. TFS

Nice pose and water as you said. I feel it needs more room on the bottom for the virtual feet/legs.

Sweet shot, Kaustubh. Exposure and detail are excellent, as is the lovely water. Another vote for a little more CW rotation, maybe just a bit more canvas. The red eye is a knockout.

Your dedication paid off nicely but a bit of canvas extension might be worth trying.
