Another one from the FL trip. Let's call him (or her) Harley because this was from a rookery behind a Harley Davidson dealership in Brandon. Looking at the head, I think I might have sharpened a little too much. Oops.

Agree on the photo being oversharpened. You can see it on the feet as well. I like the flight pose but feel the bird is too centered. I think this could work better to show off your subject in a vertical crop. I like how the bird has extended toes.

I agree with your comments. Can you brighten up the dark feather details ( on top wing) a bit? I would take a bit off the left.

nice wing span and light, I would go for a vertical, bird looks over sharpened to me.

Hi Chris. A terrific pose against a nice background. The bird appears to be sharp (yes, oversharpened in this presentation - that's an easy fix). I agree - this would look great as a vertical.
