This is another in my least bittern series from Viera. They kept looking at us, but just then went about their business:). Taken with the D300 and Nikon 500 with 1.4TC, iso 1000, f7.1, 1/400, ec -.33. Thanks for looking and of course all C&C welcomed.

Love the pose with the straight one look !!!! Sharp and good selective focus Would consider a stronger corp from the sides to complement the stalks going up !!! Love the capture !!! ..... btw nice feet !!!

Thanks Alfred:). Will try the different crop. Yes, I thought the straight on look was something different. They are some unique feet:D, but I guess they serve their purpose.

Thanks Mac:). They are very difficult to get in good photographic positions for sure. This day in particular all the things were in our favor, for once.
