The warm light is nice and I like the head angle. A few too many branches on the perch, and sharpness could be better. Please try to post your image EXIF data along with your images. Thanks!

Ditto what Doug has already said. I'd also prefer a higher level so you're not looking up to the dove as much.

@Dough - Sorry for not posting the EXIF. Here is the EXIF - 500mm | 1/1250 sec | ISO 1250 | F6.3.
I seriously miss tripod now. Have to get one soon. Finding it very difficult to get my handheld shots sharper.

@Chris - The bird was sitting on a brach high above (around 20-30 feet). I agree a higher level would have been better.
