I recently decided that full frame cameras were not for me. I sold my D700 and for a while used my D70 --- :t3, yup my D70.
Well last week I purchased a D7000 and prepared myself to be disappointed. Wow, I couldn't have been more wrong. Not only did I get more reach, more megapixels, a very sharp camera out of the box. I even tried a few movies :e3, with less than stellar results.
I will buy another camera some day but like my 300 2.8 lens, this camera is a keeper. Only thing I haven't tried yet is flight shots.
This image show the sharpness, the image is handheld, focus in at the grass where it meets the water, framed and aged using Fotosketcher.
