Looks like it was worth the wait! Beautiful bird, sharp, clean, well exposed, background certainly compliments the bird's colors. I like the perch, too. Very nice!

Beautifully composed image!! Just added a bit to the bottom and took some off the top.

Love the bird and the composition and BG. I find the seed pods on the perch weird looking. Kind of looks like potato chips and detracts from the beautiful bird.
But I am the only one to say this so far so maybe it's just me!!

Beautiful bird, BG, pose, comp. Techs look great too. I like the perch overall but I'm not in love with the seed pods (there you go Gail, you're not alone anymore). Looks like your patience paid off!!

Fantastic set-up shot - pefect background and great pose. I personally like the left two seed pods, but the out-of-focus ones on the right periphery do distract a bit.

Just one more thing to add, this was taken on a workshop led by Alan Murphy and his work made this and other great images possible.
Ofer, I like the change in cropping. Thanks for all the other comments.

Super pose Steve, and I like the light, and colours on the grossbeak. Killer BG, but here's another for finding the seed pods a tad distracting.

Except for the copyright which distracts , this one is a killer !!
